Mahalo & Aloha!

Well, this would be my last post of this blog about our trip to Hawaii.

I want to say thank you for everything, but special thanks for: Thank you Chris and Robin for your generosity to let us stay at Camp BE hive, thank you family, who watch over our house while we were gone, thank you friends, who babysit our chickens, and thank you family, who came to meet us in Hawaii, and thank you for those who gave us all the advices.

One great things of Hawaiian trip is Bo figured out that he might be interested in cooking. With some trainings and his personality of love to try new things to do (unfortunately not eating new things), he might be a good cook soon!

Yep he loves making pancakes.

Did I say Hawaii is super expensive for everything? Pineapples in Tennessee is cheaper!

I’m not a big fan of this tea.. it’s yours if anybody wants it. Sorry I opened it and took a tea spoon amount out of it.

Did I mention that I miss poke?
Well, I noticed that I should make it if it’s not available at store! Yeah, that’s how I’ve been surviving in different culture for decades 😆 “If you can’t buy it, make it”

Best thing we brought to the cabin was these emergency camp lanterns. We were half way kidding when we packed them, but it was super helpful for powerless days lol

You can ask them what happened. They are siblings.

Family had welcome dinner for us. We bought six chocolate bars for tasting. They are all 70% dark chocolate with only two ingredients: cacao & sugar. The only difference they have are, their cacao beans are harvested in different farm. John and I tried different farm chocolate bar tasting while we were still in Hawaii, thinking it shouldn’t be “that” different, but it was amazingly very different. So we went back to the store and bought all six different farm chocolate bars to bring back home with us, and did the chocolate tasting with family. It was fun!!

We shared Kona coffee.
I’m not a coffee drinker but I love the smell

This is a video kids made about their life. I think they did pretty good.

Thank you so much for reading this blog and supporting us. We learned and grew a lot through this trip.

Mahalo & Aloha!🌺🤙🏝️
