Slow life in Hawaii

Since I recovered well enough, I took Meg to Hilo to explore. It took about 45 mins from our cabin. We first went to Big Island Candies  Ayako recommended. Man that girl is great at researching! I’ll totally include her for planning next time we have any vacation or trip together. Anyways, she asked me if I can grab a box of cookies from there if I have a chance, and I did, so we did.   They have their factory open to public so we can see how they are making their chocolate and cookies.  Cool to watch assembly line of hand dipping chocolate cookies. Varieties of cookies and chocolates, and they are keep giving samples away. We got 2-3 individual wrapped cookies in 10 mins.  So many choice!! We headed to beaches local people go to, and stopped by at Banyan tree drive in Hilo. Can you see a person under the tree? You can click the pic and zoom in. It’s huge!! I need to take John here later.  This is  Onekahakaha beach . It doesn’t have a white sand to lay dow...
