Slow day at Hilo
The morning start from John’s meeting at 7 AM. He’s a hard-working guy! After that, we had tropical fruit breakfast again lol. We just enjoy all different fruits we can have. Kids hang out on the porch and exploring the nature around the cabin. I was doing some housework like fixing beds, vacuuming the floor, and three of us besides John headed out to Hilo to grab some more cacao beans. It’s his favorite snack now. They made necklaces with abalone shells We stopped by at the nearby 7-Eleven convenience store to grab a lunch for ourselves. Thanks to Japanese influences, they have bento boxes, riceballs, and Chinese steam buns available there. Oh, I will miss these things when I go home. Although, I happen to find a Japanese lunch place on the way to the chocolate shop. Absolutely no English on sign? Impressive confidence lol! I’m gonna try that place next time.
