Dole Plantation & North Shore
My first challenge in Oahu is a driving a rental car. I got a car that can hold all 9 of us. It feels like a small church van. I’ve been little nervous if I can drive such a big car, but it ended up that it’s not a big deal. Huh, I’ve been discovering new things on this trip. We wanted to go to Pearl Harbor for the first thing after arriving at Honolulu, since it’s close from the airport, but I did not make a reservation (I was waiting for making reservation for some places due to Ayako’s situation was uncertain, and totally forgot to do it). Assistant tour coordinator (lol) my sister-in-law Ayako pointed out a night before that Pearl Harbor tickets are all booked. We managed to get Battleship Missouri for all of us, but we could not get tickets for USS Arizona.
